Paul C. Hutton, AIAOctober 30, 2009 – Paul Hutton, AIA, LEED AP was selected as one of the chairs of the American Institute of Architect’s National Committee on Architecture for Education (CAE).  The program “connects architects and allied professionals interested in designing, building, and using superior educational, cultural, and recreational facilities that meet the needs of students of all ages.”

In particular, Mr. Hutton will co-chair the Pre K – 12 portion of the committee, working with other CAE members to develop and implement ways to educate the public about the value of quality education design. 

Paul’s appointment reinforces his long-standing commitment to the design of educational facilities, and will enable him to remain at the forefront of innovative thinking about learning environments.  The initial focus areas of the Committee are daylighting and learning, design and pedagogy, and sustainability.  Paul is eager to share what he is learning with clients and colleagues.
